During a regional outage, your cluster might not have a primary node if the regional outage affects a majority of the cluster's electable nodes. You can use the Atlas UI to restore your Atlas multi-region cluster by reconfiguring your cluster.

In sharded clusters, if your MongoDB process didn't replicate chunk migrations. The data inconsistency might cause orphaned chunks.
注意
Force reconfiguring is not supported for multi-shard sharded clusters or a 1-shard cluster with a dedicated config server. If an outage takes a majority of your cluster's electable nodes offline, restore your cluster from a backup. We recommend using 5-Node, 3-Region Architecture for high availability and data loss protection.

要从服务中断中恢复 Atlas 多区域集群，您必须手动重新配置副本集：
AtlasGoClusters在Atlas中，Go项目的 页面。
如果尚未显示，请从导航栏上的 Organizations 菜单中选择包含所需项目的组织。
如果尚未显示，请从导航栏的Projects菜单中选择所需的项目。
在侧边栏中，单击 Database 标题下的 Clusters。
会显示集群页面。
单击 Review Changes（保存并关闭）。
查看对集群配置和定价的更改。
如果您要将可选举节点添加到未受服务中断影响的新 AWS 区域，则可以将 Enable Faster Cross-Region Atlas Initial Syncs for AWS Clusters 切换为 ON 以加快 AWS 节点之间的跨区域数据复制，但会产生额外费用。仅在将节点添加到没有主节点的 Amazon Web Services 区域时，才会显示此选项，并且您尚未在集群设置中启用此选项。要了解有关此选项的更多信息，请参阅 为 Atlas Core AWS 集群启用更快的跨区域初始同步。
