更改集群生成

M30+ Atlas Core 集群可在 AWS 和 Google Cloud 上使用 Gen1 或 Gen2集群。在Atlas Core 集群上，与 Gen1 集群相比，Gen2 专用集群可提供更高的性能，并支持扩展标准 IOPS，从而具有以下优势：

您可以通过更改集群层级的方式，在符合条件的集群的 Gen1 和 Gen2 之间进行切换。

当您从 Gen1 集群切换到 Gen2 集群时，Atlas 会维护您的 Gen1 存储容量和 IOPS 速率。对于托管在 AWS 上的集群，Atlas 还会维护您的 IOPS 类型。

这可能会导致您的 Gen2 集群具有比存储容量中包含的基线更高的 IOPS 速率。切换到 Gen2 后，我们建议您独立调整存储容量和 IOPS 速率，以适应您的工作负载并优化您的费用。要了解更多信息，请参阅 Gen2 集群计费。

当您从 Gen2 集群切换到 Gen1 集群时，Atlas 仍然会保留您的存储容量、IOPS 速率以及 IOPS 类型。但是，如果您的 Gen2 集群的 IOPS 速率超过对应的 Gen1 集群 IOPS 速率限制，Atlas 会降低 IOPS 速率以匹配 Gen1 限制。我们建议您验证 Gen1 IOPS 足以满足您的工作负载要求，然后再将集群从 Gen2 更改为 Gen1 。

使用 Atlas 用户界面设置集群代际

要使用 Atlas 用户界面更改集群的代际，请在 Cluster Tier 部分下选择 Gen2 或 Gen1 选项。

To specify a cluster's generation using the Atlas Administration API or Atlas CLI, use the instanceSize or --tier options, respectively.

在 API 和 CLI 中，Gen1 集群的名称中仅包含集群层，而 Gen2 集群的名称中则包含集群层并附加 _GEN_2。示例，要部署 M30 层级集群：

If you update an existing Gen2 cluster with the Update One Cluster in One Project endpoint, specify the corresponding _GEN_2 value for the instanceSize field. A Gen1 value such as M200 might unintentionally change the cluster's generation to Gen1.

On Atlas Core clusters and Atlas Infinite clusters, M10 and M20 clusters are generation-agnostic. You don't select a cluster generation when you deploy an M10 or M20 cluster.
集群内的所有节点必须属于同一代。您不能在同一个集群中混合使用 Gen1 和 Gen2 节点。
When you update a cluster with the Update One Cluster in One Project endpoint, specify an instanceSize that matches the cluster's intended generation. For example, M200 is Gen1, while M200_GEN_2 is Gen2. If you specify a Gen1 value for an existing Gen2 cluster, you might unintentionally change the cluster's generation. To keep the cluster on Gen2, specify the corresponding _GEN_2 instance size, such as M200_GEN_2.

更改 GCP 托管集群的集群代次

托管在 Google Cloud Platform 上的集群会根据其集群代次使用不同的磁盘类型：

Gen1、M10 和 M20 集群使用持久性磁盘存储。
Gen2 集群使用 Hyperdisk 存储。
