Basic and optional life insurance
As a MongoDB employee, you’re automatically enrolled in basic life insurance at no cost to you. If you would like to purchase additional life insurance, you can purchase optional life insurance policies for yourself, spouse, and/or children.
Legal plan
MongoDB’s MetLife legal plan provides unlimited access to network attorneys for personal legal matters covered under the plan such as buying or selling a home, estate planning, and more. Spouses and children of employees who enroll in this benefit can use it at no extra cost!

Business travel accident insurance
MongoDB is a global company, so employees may get to travel near and far for business. To help employees feel supported while traveling, we provide a business travel accident insurance benefit so you can be reimbursed should you experience the loss, delay, or theft of baggage or personal effects while on business travel. This policy extends to spouses and children traveling with you.
