Capital One, Comcast, Google and MythBusters’ Adam Savage Confirmed to Keynote MongoDB World 2016
Super Early Bird Registration and Applications for Innovation Awards and New Startup Showcase Are Now Open; Alt-Rock Band They Might be Giants To Perform
New York, NY and Palo Alto, CA—March 7, 2016— MongoDB, the database for giant ideas, today announced an all-star lineup of keynote speakers for the third annual MongoDB World, the world’s largest global gathering of the MongoDB database community. This year’s event, sponsored by partners such as IBM and Google, will include a wide range of activities including keynotes, breakout sessions, jumpstarts, community events, a partner summit and a new Startup Showcase. In addition, the popular alternative rock band They Might Be Giants will perform at the opening night after-party.
The two-day event will host more than 2,000 innovators across trailblazing startups and Fortune 500 companies. Registration to the conference and applications for the company’s Innovation Awards and Startup Showcase are now open.

MongoDB Innovation Awards From startups to enterprises, MongoDB World will recognize organizations building giant ideas. MongoDB World 2016 will feature the third annual Innovation Awards, which recognize organizations and individuals that dream big. Past winners include Expedia, GE Capital, the Gap and more. The winners of Innovation Awards represent the best and most innovative work in the industry over the last year.

All-New Startup Showcase MongoDB is also launching a new Startup Showcase at this year’s conference to recognize startups building their businesses on MongoDB. Companies with fewer than 50 employees are eligible to apply. Applicants must demonstrate how they are taking advantage of MongoDB’s feature set to build their giant idea by March 25. Finalists will have the opportunity to present their application to investors, media and engineering talent in the MongoDB World expo hall on the Giant Ideas stage.
