Definition

db.collection.compactStructuredEncryptionData()

This method provides a wrapper around the compactStructuredEncryptionData command. This method only works on connections that have automatic encryption enabled.

Returns:

A failure or success object.

Compatibility

This method is available in deployments hosted in the following environments:

  • MongoDB Atlas: The fully managed service for MongoDB deployments in the cloud
