10gen CEO Visits Dublin to Open New EMEA Headquarters
Dublin– May 31, 2013 – 10gen, the MongoDB company, today announced the opening of its EMEA headquarters to address market demand for MongoDB and to accommodate its rapidly growing EMEA team. 10gen’s new space is located in Latin Hall, an office development in the heart of Dublin city centre. The launch was attended by the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Eamon Gilmore T.D.
10gen launched a local recruitment campaign for positions in Engineering, Sales, HR, Legal and Finance. The new headquarters will accommodate the first stage of the company’s expansion. Speaking at today’s official opening, the Tánaiste said, “10gen is a highly innovative and fast-growing company. The opening of a new and larger headquarters for its operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa is great news for the city and the sector, and shows once again that harnessing Irish talent is a key element in the international strategies of the emerging wave of leading worldwide companies.”
“Our Dublin expansion is a true testament to the increasing adoption of MongoDB, and the growing demand for cutting edge technical skills in the region,” said Max Schireson, CEO at 10gen. “Our EMEA headquarters is very close to leading educational institutions which makes it an ideal location to recruit young, talented graduates who are serious about building a career in technology.”

We chose Dublin as our EMEA HQ as it offers us a talented workforce in a vibrant centre city location, and we can offer solid career paths in return. It’s the perfect choice for 10gen,” added Schireson.
