Users are signed in with their Vercel credentials with no separate Atlas login required. New users have an Atlas account provisioned automatically, with Vercel team roles mapped directly to Atlas organization permissions.

Who it’s for: Developers and teams using the MongoDB Atlas Vercel Native Integration who need to access and manage Atlas resources without leaving their Vercel workflow.

Why it matters: Previously, accessing Atlas from Vercel meant creating and managing a separate set of Atlas credentials, signing in independently, and navigating to the right project manually. Partner Login eliminates that friction: Vercel credentials work as your Atlas credentials, accounts are provisioned on first access, and Vercel team roles (Admin, User) map automatically to Atlas organization roles (Organization Owner, Organization Read Only). Atlas becomes a natural extension of the Vercel experience.
