You install the MongoDB Agent on each host that runs a MongoDB process you want Ops Manager to work with. The workflow you follow depends on whether you want Automation to manage those deployments.
Before you install the MongoDB Agent, review the MongoDB Agent Prerequisites.

Choose the workflow that matches what you want Ops Manager to do:

Installation Instructions in Ops Manager Interface
Ops Manager displays the MongoDB Agent install instructions after you choose your MongoDB Agent download. You can copy all the necessary commands from the Ops Manager Application.
