Remove the Automation Agent from Cloud Manager

Important

Legacy Automation Agent has been removed

This Agent has been updated from your self-managed legacy Automation Agent to the MongoDB Agent.

View Active Agents

To view your active Automation Agents:

In MongoDB Cloud Manager, go to the Agents page for your project.

  1. If it's not already displayed, select the organization that contains your desired project from the Organizations menu in the navigation bar.

  2. If it's not already displayed, select your desired project from the Projects menu in the navigation bar.

  3. In the sidebar, click Agents under the Database heading.

The Agents page displays.

View active agents.

Click All Agents.

The page displays agents that have been active in the last 24 hours. If an agent fails to report to Cloud Manager for more than 24 hours, Cloud Manager removes the agent from this page.

Remove from Cloud Manager

To remove an Automation Agent from Cloud Manager:

  1. Stop the agent.

  2. Wait for the agent to clear the agent list in about 24 hours.

Delete from a Host

Select the operating system or package type of the host you want to delete the Automation Agent from.
