We’re happy to share that MongoDB has launched a new Customer Trust Portal, which gives customers faster, easier access to critical security and compliance documentation for MongoDB Atlas. This new self-service platform enables users to review certifications, audit reports, and other trust artifacts on demand—all without having to wait for requests to be fulfilled. However, we are always standing by to assist you if and when you need help with anything at all.

MongoDB has long maintained a strong commitment to protecting customer data and meeting the highest security and privacy standards. That commitment is reflected in the company’s robust security controls, third-party attestations, and dedication to transparency. Our new Customer Trust Portal builds on this foundation by removing friction from the assurance process, helping customers meet their own compliance and due diligence requirements more efficiently.

What is the MongoDB Customer Trust Portal?

The MongoDB Customer Trust Portal is a secure, customer-only site that centralizes access to the company’s security and compliance documentation. It includes downloadable versions of MongoDB’s most commonly requested resources, such as:

• Third-party certifications and attestations

• Completed security questionnaires (including SIG and CAIQ)

• Audit reports

By offering these documents in a self-service format, the Customer Trust Portal eliminates the need to request materials through support channels or account teams, enabling customers to get what they need, when they need it.

Benefits for customers

The new Trust Portal is designed to streamline assurance workflows and provide customers with:

• Instant access: View or download trust documentation on demand, without delays.

• Always up-to-date materials: Access the latest versions of certifications and attestations, updated in real time.

• Workflow efficiency: Reduce the time and effort spent on compliance reviews by integrating the portal into existing internal processes.

Click the Request or Regain Access button (seen above), and all the security and compliance documents can be accessed by MongoDB Atlas customers. For any access issues, users should contact their Account Manager directly. The team will work swiftly to resolve them.

A one-stop security shop

Depending on their needs, active MongoDB customers can log in to the portal, browse available documents, and obtain those that they need. Keep in mind that the Customer Trust Portal only contains Security and Compliance documentation, so requests for Legal documents (e.g., BAA) will still need to follow their respective processes.

To protect the sensitive information contained in these documents—as well as the privacy of our customers—access to the portal is limited to direct MongoDB customers only. Subsidiaries, audit firms, and customers of MongoDB customers are not permitted access. These parties must either coordinate access through a direct customer or establish an agreement with MongoDB in advance.
