From a System of record to a real time intelligent context layer

Presenter: Raphael Schor

AI Agents take actions based on data. Those actions create new data. Agentic workflows are not possible without a context layer, that is able to provide real time data to the agents and act as a memory layer for current and past conversations and decisions. Learn among the example of a predictive maintenance solution how to set up an agentic framework and why context is key.

How to Architect an Agentic AI-Powered Predictive Maintenance Solution

Date: Thursday, 23 April, 10:50-11:10 | Talk (20 Minutes incl. Q&A)
Location: Hall 26, booth E43 – Expert Stage 2 (Solution Lab Automation & Digitalization)

Agentic AI is redefining predictive maintenance, shifting it from reactive monitoring to autonomous, goal-driven operations. This session explores how an Agentic AI framework can be designed to continuously observe machine signals, reason over both historical and real-time context, and proactively initiate maintenance actions such as work-order creation, spare-parts allocation, and maintenance scheduling.

A critical enabler of this approach is a modern data platform that unifies structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, allowing AI agents to build a holistic understanding of asset behavior, maintenance processes, and resource optimization. The result is a closed-loop system where insights automatically translate into action-elevating predictive maintenance from isolated analytics to an intelligent, self-learning operational capability.
