So, as an educator, the challenge is how to teach this so that your students have a well-rounded, current, up-to-date set of skills when they're ready to enter the job market. Enabling access control on a MongoDB deployment enforces authentication, requiring users to identify themselves. When accessing a MongoDB deployment that has access control enabled, users can only perform actions as determined by their roles.
