WPATH Standards of Care
WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health) Benefits will cover services considered cosmetic and/or not medically necessary for purpose of improving or altering appearance or self-esteem related to one’s appearance, including gender specific appearance for individuals who identify as Transgender, Gender Nonconforming, or Transsexual. MongoDB is one of the 5% of Cigna’s clients who offer expanded WPATH care to their employees. *These benefits are available to employees who enroll in one of the Cigna medical insurances.
Health Advocacy Program
The Employee Advocate team, through our partner, Sequoia, can answer general or specific questions regarding your coverage in a quick and confidential manner. They will also save you time, eliminating the need to call insurance companies regarding claims.

You can get rewarded up to $125 for completing various activities such as getting your free annual preventative care visit with a Primary Care Physician, completing a dental cleaning, and completing an online health assessment. *This is a reward perk through Cigna; you must be enrolled in Cigna’s medical insurance in order to participate. Spouses and domestic partners enrolled in one of MongoDB’s Cigna plans may also participate.
One Medical
MongoDB employees, spouses, domestic partners, and children are eligible for a free membership to One Medical, which provides a variety of health services, including primary care, same-day appointments, urgent care needs, and 24/7 access to telemedicine through free virtual visits through their app.
Cigna Travel Insurance
