Unable to install MongoDB 5 on Fedora 34

I’m using Fedora 34 and I’m trying to install MongoDB 5 from this guide but I get this error:

MongoDB Repository 355 B/s | 391 B 00:01

Looks like the repo might not be setup correctly. Take a look at configuring package management step. Hope this helps.

Worth mentioning that once you configure the repositories in the right way, while installing mongodb-org there will be a failure related to installing mongodb-mongosh, the new MongoDB Shell. We are addressing that in https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/MONGOSH-941 and the package for Fedora will be available in the next release of mongosh.

@muco_tresor Fedora is not in the officially supported platforms list.

RHEL/Centos/Oracle 8 is going to be the closest but likely will having missing/mismatched dependencies. Substitute 8 for 34 in the repo strings if you want to try.

You should be able to build from source though.
