Had a skill gap in Sharding and completed the sharding strategies badge and got 100%!
which is great because I always found it complicated, but this made it easy to understand Indexing Design fundamentals is a great refresher too.
Challenge accepted — and completed in a single day!
Here is the result of my participation: result two more badges earned!
Through these two badges, I strengthened my understanding of core MongoDB concepts. I learned how to build and optimize aggregation pipelines, and I also improved my ability to perform efficient and secure CRUD operations. Together, these skills helped me deepen my knowledge of how to model, query, and work with data more effectively in MongoDB.
Here is the outcome of my participation in the #2BadgesIn2Weeks challenge: post Two new badges earned!
By completing the assessments for CRUD Operations in MongoDB and MongoDB Aggregation Fundamentals, I strengthened my understanding of key MongoDB concepts — from building and optimizing aggregation pipelines to performing efficient and secure CRUD operations. These skills helped me deepen my ability to model, query, and work with data more effectively in MongoDB.
I’ve learned the importance of securing MongoDB deployments through proper authentication and authorization. These core concepts are essential for protecting sensitive data, managing users, and enforcing access control. Understanding them not only strengthens application security but also equips me to build safer, more reliable systems-both as a developer and in everyday digital interactions.
I also learnt about how to secure MongoDB Atlas deployments using authentication and authorization-two core principles of application security. Authentication verifies identity, while authorization grants access based on that identity, just like showing ID at a hotel check-in and receiving a room key. Mastering these concepts helps developers protect sensitive data, manage users effectively, and build secure, scalable systems.
Here is the outcome of my participation in the #2BadgesIn2Weeks challenge: Here the result result Two new badges earned!
By completing the assessments for CRUD Operations in MongoDB and MongoDB Advanced Schema Design Patterns and Anti-patterns, took the opportunity to revisit architectural principles and review technical approaches that raise the bar for data handling. The tracks showcased practical cases involving modeling, query patterns, optimizations, and transformation flows applied to real-world scenarios.
Initiatives like this further strengthen the culture of continuous learning within the community.
That said, I got genuinely excited — and I’ll definitely keep going. Thank you a lot for the opportunity.
Here is my post on linkedin challenge #2badgesin2weeks, I have completed about Search in Mongodb especially with Atlast Search and AI Agents in MongoDB, Both of these badges helped me more to understand on search capabilities and building AI agentic flow in MongoDB. I am fascinated & excited to learn more on the new badges upcoming.
I earned the Schema Design & Advanced Schema Design badges. The section on avoiding anti-patterns and implementing Schema Versioning for smoother updates was incredibly useful. Thanks for the push!
Ha! Well, @chris the theme that interested me was use of MongoDB in agentic. On hearing of the Challenge, I took a cursory glance at the offerings and was interested to find the 3 “AI” sessions. It was delightful that the material was beyond merely palatable and way into the spectrum of “genuinely useful”. My congratulations to the MongoDB team for excellent content and presentation.
