Small team, lost access to MongoDB Atlas Organization

Hi All!
I’m reaching out today wondering if anyone could help with accessing Atlas.

We’re a small startup and have been utilizing MongoDB for our entire existence. Our original developer has been gone for about 1.5 years and we’re now a team of three. We interface with our databases (prod/dev) through Compass or libraries like PyMongo and of course our internal API.

Recently, we’ve been wanting to explore with Atlas’s Vector Searching but have realized no one on the current team has access to our Atlas organization (not even any C-level). We are fairly certain the email of our original developer has been closed out- Is there any way we transfer organization ownership?

Any help would be appreciated!!

I would contact the Atlas in-app chat support regarding this topic. Unfortunately we won’t be able to help you out much here on the forums itself as this is specific to your organizations Atlas account security.
