Hello MongoDB Community,
I’m currently facing a replica set issue in my Atlas cluster (Cluster0) within my project “Commprep.ai” under the organization Chayandev’s Org.
Problem Summary:
Today I received an alert stating:
Replica set has no primary
- Cluster: Cluster0
- DOWN: 2 members
- SECONDARY: 1 member
- PRIMARY: None
- Tier: M0 (Free Tier)
Due to this, my application is unable to perform any write operations and is likely encountering connection issues.
What I Have Tried:
- Verified the status in Atlas UI – confirmed 2 members are down.
- Looked for options to restart individual nodes or the entire cluster – found that this is not directly possible in the free tier.
- Attempted to trigger a soft restart by editing cluster config (no changes) and saving – but no resolution yet.
- Planning to terminate and recreate the cluster as a last resort.
