We released an updated version of our MongoDB Kafka for Apache Kafka V1.8!
As the adoption of the connector has increased over time, there have been many requests for better monitoring of the MongoDB Kafka Connector. Since the connector is written in Java it made sense to expose metrics through Java’s native monitoring, JMX. For more details on this release read our blog post announcement . The MongoDB documentation will be available shortly that will enumerate all the metrics available.
