MongoDB is not only the best way to store your data, it’s also a fantastic engine to process your data. Aggregation Framework allows developers to generate more values from data by enabling compute directly at the Database level and servers.
Aggregation Frameworks enable you to:
- Use standard calculation methods (Add, Divid, Multiply, Sum, Average, Count etc)
- Manipulate Dates, Text and Numbers
- Enforce the Data type
- Generate Advanced Queries (Graph, Faceted, Full Text etc…)
