(using Mongo 6.X community) Trying to deleteMany based upon a date (basically, $lte from a specified date and that is it). I know this can be done in version 7 and eventually I’ll get there, but in the interim, how do I delete apart from setting the expiry date? Specifically, I get the “Cannot perform an update or delete on a time-series collection when querying on a field that is not the metaField” message. Can I just delete from that collection and specify the date and just wildcard the meta-data part? Or, do I have to run a query, get all the meta-data, iterate through that cursor and throw that into an “in” clause or? What I’m trying to avoid is having my developer having to write a bunch of SW just to handle a deleteMany.
