Hello. I’m somewhat new to MongoDB. Long story short I have a vendor that installed the Community Edition of MongoDB (4.0.9) on one of our Windows boxes a while back for one of their apps. I’m being told it needs to be updated so I’d like to go to the latest version available (5.0.3). This issue I have is the manual on the website talks about doing this for Linux and not Windows. From what I gather with other resources it might be a matter of backing up the database with mongod, uninstall the old version, then install the new version and restore the database. Can anyone verify for me if this is the correct procedure for Windows?
