Hi all,
I was able to connect using Compass and complete all requirements, however I was trying to replicate this in Robo3T since some developer friends use that and I wanted to get cross-familiarity, however there doesn’t seem to be a way to connect. I’ve configured the authentication and using the replica set level of connection, however it responds with “Set’s primary is unreachable” and there doesn’t seem to be a clear way to recreate the ssl connection Compass uses by default. Anyone dealt with this and found a solution?

My configuration is as follows:
On the Authentication tab the Auth Mechanism set to SCRAM-SHA-1. It also has the database as admin.
On the SSL tab the Authentication Method is Self-signed Certificate.
Can’t remember what was the problem with mine, but I know that I changed the Address to connect to use one of the shards.

Hi all,
I encountered the same problem- not able to connect to clusters using Robo 3T. I followed all the steps listed out in the dataduh blog but unable to connect: https://www.datduh.com/blog/2017/7/26/how-to-connect-to-mongodb-atlas-using-robo-3t-robomongo
I tried both type of connections: Direct, ReplicaSet. But no luck either ways. After trying out all the combinations I finally have the error on Authorization: “Authorization failed on admin database as m001-student”
Database: admin
Username: m001-student
Password: ***************
Auth Mechanism: SCRAM-SHA-1
Appreciate any help on this issue.
