Is it possible to expose a function to users, which can read and write to a collection, without exposing the collection directly to users?
To get a function accessing a collection i have to add a rule. With that rule, the collection can be accessed by users. What am i missing. How to do this?

If I understood your question correctly, yes. In Stitch, you can define Roles and Permissions in a way that a Stitch user can read and write to a collection (or even certain fields). While the user is interacting via Stitch, they are bound by the roles and permissions that you have defined.
