HI, I would like to know, Is it possible to have one primary node and the one secondary node and again on the same secondary node having arbitery running?
It is possible to do this yes, but definitely not recommended. The reason for this is, if the machine that the secondary is on fails, then you have lost two nodes from the replicaset: the secondary and the arbiter. If this should happen, then your current primary will step down and you will no longer will be able to write any data. It is best to have all nodes on separate machines, and even better if in separate data centers.
