Realm Q2 '21 Newsletter: Unity SDK GA, Simplified property declaration in iOS, Realm survey

This July rounded off one of the busiest quarters yet for the Realm team. From product releases to developer conferences, here’s what we’ve been up to:

Thanks to everyone who tuned in to! We announced the GA of our Unity SDK and previewed Flexible Sync – which we’re working hard to bring to public beta by the end of 2021.

Couldn’t make it? All of the recorded sessions are now available on YouTube.

We recommend checking out Combine-ing MongoDB Realm with SwiftUI for a great demo on working with the v10 RealmSwift SDK or Developing Cross Platform Games with Unity and MongoDB Realm.

Try out our Swifty property wrappers

Simpler syntax, improved performance, and more – all with the introduction of the new Swift property wrapper Persisted in our iOS SDK!

Persisted replaces the Objective-C dynamic var property syntax, allowing you to declare properties in native Swift. Check out docs to learn more →

Realm in the community

We enjoyed interacting with and hearing from everyone at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) and We Are Developers! Hopefully you were able to catch our talks.

Didn’t know we were attending? Join our Realm Global Community, and be the first to learn about our (virtual) meetups, hackathons, office hours and more.
