pymongocrypt 1.18.0 is now available

We’re happy to share that pymongocrypt 1.18.0 has been released.

This release bundles libmongocrypt 1.18.1 and brings in the 1.18 line of encryption updates for Python users.

A few highlights:

  • Support for referencing keys by keyAltName in encryptedFieldsMap.
  • Signed macOS and Linux binaries available through the GitHub release flow.
  • Linux nocrypto binaries with no OpenSSL dependency.
