I downloaded mongodb-win32-x86_64-2012plus-4.2.8-signed from mongdb portal tried to follow the instruction given. It seems installer not working as the pop up disappearing withing seconds. Not sure what is the issue.
Need help as I am pretty new to MongoDB.

Please make sure you are running on a supported platform and fulfilled all prerequisites and considerations prior to installing:

It’s Win 10 professional. I followed instructions mentioned at https://docs.mongodb.com/manual/tutorial/install-mongodb-on-windows/#considerations but unfortunately it did not work.

Can you try and download the “zip” version? Then you can try to follow the command line instructions here:
This should allow you to spionup the mongo server on this host.
