Mongoimport a csv.gz file

Hello, guys.
I am recently dealing with GPS data, which is too big(20GB/per one) to be imported into mongo in an effective way. Also, the raw file is a csv.gz format file(2GB/per one). so I want to know that is it possible to import csv.gz file directly

What issue are you facing with mongoimport --gzip option

Other options use zcat or gunzip with pipe to mongoimport

Zcat dump.csv.gz |mongoimport --db x --coll y
Check mongodocs for correct syntax
