MongoDB software lifecycle schedules, what do they actually mean?

Looking at the support policies: MongoDB Software Lifecycle Schedules | MongoDB this page doesn’t seem to have much information about what kind of support to expect related to a product that has reached the end of its support lifecycle.

For example, we are currently using a mongoDB 4.4 cluster hosted with mongoDB Atlas, what kind of changes in support and maintenance can we expect come the end of 4.4’s lifecycle in February of 2024?

Hi @Adam_Stone

When EoL is approaching I believe the Org Owner and Project Owner roles should be receiving emails on the impending EoL and encouraging them to upgrade.

If no extension agreement has been reached with MongoDB then the cluster would be automatically upgraded to the next major release on the EoL date.
