MongoDB Repair Problem

Repair command

sudo mongod --dbpath /var/lib/mongodb --repair

Is this development or other important environment?
It says datafile is missing.You need to check on this
Do you have backups for this DB?
There is no guarantee that after repair your mongod comes up
Did you take a backup of dbpath dir before attempting repair?
