I am trying to access Secure URL , generated certificate using openssl commands and placed pem and crt certificate details in mongod and ops manager conf files, but still port 8443 not listening this service and not able to open the secure url yet. Anyone faced similar situation and can help.
2nd troubleshoot i want to know on ops manager url open with http, but when i register a user it is not allowing me to so it. Is there any turn around to reset password from mongod ops manager service to create user ,so i can login into ops manager and do all configuration to setup ops manager.
Hi all, I’m trying to access a secure URL for Ops Manager by configuring SSL. I generated the certificate using OpenSSL and placed the .pem and .crt files in both the mongod.conf and Ops Manager configuration files. However, port 8443 is still not listening, and I’m unable to access the secure URL. Has anyone encountered a similar issue or knows how to resolve this? Additionally, I can access Ops Manager through HTTP, but I’m unable to register a user—it doesn’t allow me to complete the process. Is there a workaround to create or reset a user directly through the MongoDB Ops Manager database, so I can log in and complete the initial configuration? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
