Over the course of learning MongoDB I have noticed the increase of the use of GoLang with MongoDB, and that even MongoDB is built on Go!
As the rise of new Certifications and Learning Path’s are being released I was wondering if there would be a dedicated Exam for MongoDB and Go, having querying, aggregation (with indexes in mind) as content.
I believe it would be beneficial for new developers to get interested in Go and for current Go developers to have a good refresher and possibly learn something new or that they did not know was a feature to use.
Hi Gareth, I’m the MongoDB Go Driver Product Manager – we think this is a great idea, and in fact it’s something we’ve been considering! We’ll definitely share more updates and information as they become available. It’s great to know there’s a desire for these types of resources!
Thanks for seeing this and sharing the enthusiasm, looking forward to what comes in the future!
Please extend my appreciation for Qinyang Hu’s exceptional work - they’ve inspired me to learn and grow beyond what I thought was possible while following the fixes and new features.
