Today we released an updated version of our Kafka connector V1.3!
This is a significant release as it enables MongoDB to integrate better within the Kafka ecosystem. For more detailed information read our blog post announcement.
Highlights include:
Source Schema - Define schema on MongoDB source data, perform Single Message Transforms, and leverage more of the Kafka ecosystem such as the Confluent Schema Registry
Connector Reliability - Support for error tolerance and handling of poison pill messages
Handle Big Data - Granular copying of existing data and support for restarting the connector without resuming from the change stream improves usability of the connector with very large data sizes
