MongoDB capability - Notification service and caching engine?

Hi,

I want to validate a couple of capabilities for the Mongo Database:-

  1. Does MongoDB have the capability to send notifications to end users?

  2. Can MongoDB work as a caching database/engine for MS-SQL Server Database?

If any of the capabilities is there, please share the reference documents.

MongoDB does not have built in functionality to send notification to end user. However with other tool you can implement this functionality in MongoDB.
