MongoDB Atlas unavailable and Compass authentication error

Hi everyone,

I’m currently experiencing an issue with my MongoDB Atlas cluster. When I try to access the cluster through the Atlas UI, I receive the following message:

“MongoDB currently unavailable”

Additionally, when I try to connect to the cluster using MongoDB Compass, I get an authentication error.

I’ve double-checked my connection string, username, and password — all are correct and have worked before. This issue started recently, and I haven’t made any changes to my project or access settings.

I’ll attach some screenshots to help illustrate both the Atlas error and the Compass authentication failure.

Has anyone else experienced something similar, or could point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance for any help!

This show there was an incident earlier, though the report says that clusters remain available and API operation not impacted.
