Hi All,
Greetings! I am new to MongoDB and learning to use MongoDB Atlas with AWS. For some reason, the dashboard does not show ‘Data API’ in the left navigation pan. I have attached the screenshot.

Data Api has been deprecated and will be removed September 30 2025, there may not be much point in learning this item now. I’m not sure if that is why the UI component is missing or not.
If you are still interested in using Data API I found if Triggers and the Get Started button on the triggers page are used, without creating a trigger, then refresh the browser page the Data Api item will appear on the side bar.
Its still not visible for me ?? I don’t know why
I have added the screenshot I have created the trigger and refreshed the page multiple time.
If you don’t see Data API in the Atlas sidebar, it usually means your project isn’t in a supported region or you haven’t enabled the Data API feature yet. Go to Project Settings → Data API and make sure it’s turned on (and that your cluster’s region supports it). Once enabled, the Data API link will appear in the left‑hand navigation.
Please see https://www.mongodb.com/docs/atlas/app-services/deprecation/#std-label-app-services-deprecation
There are a number of alternative options recommended on https://www.mongodb.com/docs/atlas/app-services/data-api/data-api-deprecation/#std-label-data-api-deprecation
Is it something due to the closer end-of-life date for “Data API” , This Data API option is no longer available under the service section.
Can you pls confirm?
