Migration - Live Import pre validation failing for MongoDB 7.0.1

Hi,

I’m trying to do a live import from/to MongoDB v7.0.1 instances but am getting the following error message in the pre validation step.

We can’t start the migration yet. Live import validation failed. Live Migrations do not support clusters running MongoDB Version 7.0.0 or greater. Source: 7.0.1, Destination: 7.0.1. Learn more about migration troubleshooting.

Any help would be appreciated.

Good morning, welcome to the MongoDB community.

Currently, live migration does not support version 7, as stated in the documentation, nor does it support serverless instances.

We’ll be releasing mongosync with version 7 support this/next week. Live Migrate will have version 7 support soon after.
