C100DEV exam is same as new associate developer exam. for new exam we need to take any specific programming languages such as C++, Java, etc…

Welcome to the MongoDB Community Forums! 
The exam has been revamped after the launch of the new LMS. Unlike the C100DEV, the new Associate Developer Exam is conducted in four different languages and you can take it in the language of your choice. They all share a common set of core questions(which are the same as the previous exam). Only section 6 - Drivers of the exam will be presented according to the programming language selected during registration. You can further read about the exam here: Certification Program Guide
