Is the implementation of transaction based Clock-SI?

After reading a paper on Clock-SI: Snapshot Isolation for Partitioned Data Stores Using Loosely Synchronized Clocksrecently, I was surprised to find that the content of the paper is very similar to the elements of mongodb transactions, so I am curious whether MongoDB’s transaction implementation is based on Clock-SI?
