IPv6 Support For MongoDB.org

I was attempting to install mongodb onto a IPv6 only Ubuntu server when I ran into errors with the very first step : wget -qO - https://www.mongodb.org/static/pgp/server-5.0.asc | sudo apt-key add -.

I realized that www.mongodb.org has no ipv6 dns record. Would it be possible for someone from the MongoDB networking team to work on implementing that?

**➜** **~** host www.mongodb.org

www.mongodb.org is an alias for glb.mongodb.com.

glb.mongodb.com has address 54.175.147.155

glb.mongodb.com has address 52.206.222.245

glb.mongodb.com has address 52.21.89.200

Hi @Rishi_Panthee,

Can you try getting the .asc file from https://pgp.mongodb.com/ instead to see if this works from your IPv6 only Ubuntu server? I believe the command for this would be similar to:

wget -qO - https://pgp.mongodb.com/server-5.0.asc | sudo apt-key add -

Regards,
Jason
