i have downloaded stable version of compass as mentioned in chapter 1 but i am not able to open the downloaded files .I am currently using windows 10 laptop. Please help!!

as u can see from the screenshots in chapter 1 it says download latest(stable) version of compass… okay so i downloaded the stable version. After that i am not able to open the file which is in .dmg …so i installed a file extractor after that as u can see in the screenshot i am still unable to open the file
@Ishaan_50707, from your screen shots it looks like you are using Windows. If it is the case then you downloaded the wrong file. The …-darwin-…dmg is for Mac.
