Hello Everyone! I am Melakeselam from Ethiopia. I am glad to get the opportunity to study mongodb. I did not know about non-structured database until I started looking at Mongo. I think I am hooked hope to master it and even become a full stack developer as a result.

My name is Matt and am from Atlanta, GA. I’m more of a hobbyist but have experience with a variety of languages and enjoy building web apps using python and react. I’m a big fan of JSON so MongoDB seems like a no-brainer. I’m happy I’m able to participate and am looking to have a strong foundation in security and performance using MongoDB clusters/replica sets. Yes, the videos will be available until the retirement of the course (retirement date is not the same as the Course end date).

i have downloaded stable version of compass as mentioned in chapter 1 but i am not able to open the downloaded files .I am currently using windows 10 laptop. Please help!!

as u can see from the screenshots in chapter 1 it says download latest(stable) version of compass… okay so i downloaded the stable version. After that i am not able to open the file which is in .dmg …so i installed a file extractor after that as u can see in the screenshot i am still unable to open the file
@Ishaan_50707, from your screen shots it looks like you are using Windows. If it is the case then you downloaded the wrong file. The …-darwin-…dmg is for Mac.
