I’m planning to take a MongoDB University certification and would love to hear how others prepared for it.

I’m particularly interested in learning:

  • Which MongoDB University courses were the most helpful?

  • How much hands-on practice did you do before taking the exam?

  • Were there any topics that were more challenging than expected?

  • Did you build personal projects or rely mainly on the official learning path?

I’m looking for practical study tips and recommendations from people who have already completed a MongoDB certification or are currently preparing for one.

The official MongoDB University courses are a great starting point, but hands-on practice is just as important. Build a small project, practice aggregation, indexing, and schema design, and you’ll feel much more confident for the exam. Good luck!

The official MongoDB University courses are a great starting point, but hands-on practice is what really helps. Focus on CRUD, aggregation, indexing, and Atlas, and build a small project to reinforce what you learn.
