For sure it is a WiredTiger error, but why?

Hi everyone, I’m new to the forum, and if I make a mistake, lose me !!
I use Mongodb community edition on a Windows 10 PC, 16GB RAM Hd SSD locally.
In the typical installation (.msi) I defined the folder “Data” and “log” in an external hard disk 512GB SSD connected with thunderbolt port! in short, the premise is to say that the hardware is stable and functional.

There is a problem that is driving me crazy from version 4.4 and today even more so with version 5.0 (version 4.4 is uninstalled and all data with it)
with the 4.4 I worked in Standalone and today with the 5.0 in replica set (rs0 Primary).
I use compass to import data, preferably in .csv
The problem that haunts me is that importing my heavy csv file into the collection, 4 times out of 5 the server crashes! From Standalone or now Primary to Unknown! this happens both when I import the .csv (after it has been imported) or when I create an index (I usually create the index from the console) eg:

Proceeding in order:
What have I tried to do?
Try to convert the .csv files to .json, Clean up the fields as much as possible, import the files from the system hard drive, encode the files in utf-8, review the files with Pandas eliminating excessively long rows and fields, create an index with background on true, on sparse etc … etc …
Trying to split the files and import them into multiple collections, here in the latter case I noticed some improvements, that is, it is the only way to import (sometimes) the files and create an index in the collections. But it seems excessive to me, and it doesn’t always work!
Epilogue:
How can I deal with the problem? Maybe some fields that have escaped me, spaces, symbols, dashes can cause these errors?
