I’m doing a YouTube tutorial “Advanced MERN Auth Course: Email Verification, Password Recovery, and Welcome Emails”
but I’m not able to get my database to work. My terminal keeps giving me the error:
mongo_uri: your_mongodb_connection_string
server running on port 3000
Error connection to MongoDB: Invalid scheme, expected connection string to start with “mongodb://” or “mongodb+srv://”
[nodemon] app crashed - waiting for file changes before starting…

@Joao_Simao - sorry you’re having trouble… can you share more information about the connection string you’re using? don’t share the password - but let us see what your connection string looks like.
