We are running on mongo db community version v4.0.12 3 replica set, and recently we had a request from client to enable alerts on below points & if possible integrate with Grafana.
- mongo db server CPU and memory utilization.
- Top 5 slow running queries. (we enabled the profiler and able to get this info using query)
- And if possible suggestions on creating new indexes to improve performance on the slow running queries.
- Max number of connections exceeded 50% of overall configured connections.
Also, is there any way we can setup configuration to kill any long running query ( > 500 ms) at server level?
Hope these requirements more likely already available on mongo atlas, but due to budget restrictions we can’t migrate to atlas nor to enterprise version.
