Downtime when changing from Cluster to Global Cluster

I’m thinking of changing from Cluster to Global Cluster, but can you tell me if there will be any downtime?
I would appreciate it if you could add some evidence such as official documents if you don’t mind.

I would contact the Atlas in-app chat support regarding this to try clarify whether downtime is required or not when converting to Global Cluster.
