I’m trying to add directoryPerDB: true but when i put it into mongod.conf ther service wont start… i already change the dbPath and i only have the dbs that comes with the instalation…

This can only be set on a brand new(empty) data directory.
If you haven’t inserted or configured anything yet, you can remove all the files in the data directory.
If you have data to preserve from the database then use mongodump to create a copy first.
The configuration options page goes into a little more including replica sets.
