Difference between System Memory And Max System Memory Metric

I see a difference in System Memory Memory Used and Max System memory Memory Used parameter value .

For ex: System Memory Memory Used shows 400 mb but Max System Memory Memory Used shows 1.4 GB.

Based off the description for the Max System Memory Used metric:

The maximum System Memory Used value over the time period specified by the metric granularity.

Based off your example, my understanding is that the 400mb shown is the average memory use for the granularity specified. The 1.4GB for Max System Memory shown was the maximum value recorded for system memory used in that time period (granularity). I would confirm this with the Atlas in-app chat support team if you have any further doubts or queries regarding these metrics.
