Hi there, is it possible to create our own custom shape schemes for a Choropleth chart or are you only limited to built in librarys? For example I’m working with a wireless ISP and they have their customers defined within custom regions. I would like to make a Choropleth chart with these regions.

Sorry this is not supported at the moment. You may want to suggest this in the MongoDB Feedback Engine to see if others are looking for something similar.

No you can’t, but you can reduce the opacity of the shaded regions and have the map labels show through.
Hi @tomhollander . Will search indexes be utilized in mongodb charts and lookups in charts?
I have created search indexes on certain fields, and building the chart directly on dashboard. Will they be used and my queries be optimized ? I get alerts for maximum cpu utilization on loading charts, wiill that be eliminated??
I believe search indexes are only used when you use the $search pipeline stage. Charts never does this on its own, but you could put this stage into a chart or data source query if you wanted to.
Regular indexes can be used for filters ($match stage) or lookups ($lookup stage) built into charts.
