Creating a backup for mongodb atlas free cluster

hi,how can i backup mongodb atlas on a free cluster with node on a shared hosting? cant install mongodump

Welcome to the community!!

It would be very help if you could help us to understand the phase “cannot install mongodump” as it is a command line tool which should be installed locally or in the hosting environment you are working in.

Please refer to the documentation

Please note:

  1. Backups not available for M0 free cluster. mongodump will be needed in this case.
  2. You can upgrade to M2/M5 for daily snapshots.
